Would you like to develop better attachments with your children? Are you looking to build an understanding how past experiences may affect family relationships today?

Black Box is a free parenting group for parents of pre- and primary school aged children who have experienced family violence and trauma. The group aims to increase a parents understanding of how their own and their child’s past may be affecting how they are interacting in the present, and helps parents develop better attachments with their children, through emotion coaching and limit setting.

Session topics include:

  • How trauma and stress can affect children, relationships and attachment between children and caregivers
  • How the past can impact us in the present
  • Managing your child’s behaviour and looking after yourself as a parent

Attendance is FREE. Registration is essential.
