Casework Support Service
The Veritas House Permanency Support Casework Support Service (formerly Case Management Support Service) provides contact, transport and youth mentoring to children and young people who are in the statutory care system (Foster Care). With more than 35 years’ experience as a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of flexible services to children and young people, and with offices in Bathurst and Orange we are well placed to deliver a suite of client-centred CWSS services across Central Western NSW.
Supervised Contact
Our Supervised Contact service provides a safe, relaxed and professional family atmosphere where children from separated families have the opportunity to connect or re-connect with their family members.
Our staff are qualified to conduct the supervised contact with the families at a suitable location that meets the needs of all.
The safety and well-being of the children, while interacting with their families, is our highest priority.
All conversations, as well as physical interactions, are documented and put into a supervised contact report by our staff who are trained in observing behaviours and conversations.
Supervised Transport
Veritas House has professional and qualified Case Work Support Service staff to provide supervised transport for children and young people to various destinations. Our staff are trained in fitting car seats and we provide vehicles that are owned and maintained by Veritas House to ensure the safety of the children is always our first priority when transporting them.
Youth Support & Mentoring
Veritas House has a long history of providing responsive strengths-based youth services in the Bathurst and Orange communities. Our staff have a wide diversity of experience and education in working with children and young people that allow us to provide quality mentoring and youth work to adolescents who are in the statutory care system (Foster Care).
