About Veritas House
Veritas House is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity that provides a range of flexible services to children, young people, families and Foster Carers. Veritas House is managed by an annually elected volunteer Board and employs more than 100 professional and skilled staff who undertake the day-to-day operations of the programs that Veritas provides, as show by the Veritas House organisational structure. The Veritas House 2023-24 Annual Report identifies our key achievements for the financial year and how well we’re achieving our goals and our 2022-25 Strategic Plan outlines our strategic focus for the next three years.
Veritas House Services
Veritas House is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity that provides a range of flexible services to children, young people, families and Foster Carers.
The services offered are:
- Youth Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) in Bathurst and Orange.
- Permanency Support (Foster Care)
- Youth Initiative (YI)
- Casework Support Services (CWSS)
- Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP)
- Targeted Family Services (TFS)
- Interim Care accommodation supports
- Supported Independent Living Services (SILS)
- Trauma-Informed Individual Placement and Support Program (TI-IPS)
- Clinical and Consultation Services (CCS)
- Bail & Accommodation Support Service (BASS)
- Primary health network (PHN) psychology support services to Eugowra flood victims

Veritas House provides innovative, accessible, responsive services to the community through the provision of care, support and advocacy. Our Mission is to:
- End the cycle of homelessness
- Empower people to reach their full potential
- Strengthen interpersonal, family and community relationships, and
- Work in the best interests of children and young people in Out of Home Care (Foster Care).
