This raffle is being called a draw lottery under the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) from NSW Fair Trading, and is run by Veritas House (ABN 86 453 389 465) located at 98 Keppel Street, Bathurst NSW 2795, Australia.
1. Entry and Registration:
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
1.2 Purchase of a draw lottery ticket is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 Entry is open to all permanent residents of New South Wales.
1.4 Anyone under the age of 18 is ineligible to purchase raffle tickets.
1.5 Entrants must complete (or receive assistance from a Veritas House Draw Lottery Ticket Seller in completing) their contact details in the section provided.
1.6 Incomplete entries will be ineligible. Complete entries will include a first and last name, an email address and a telephone number, at a minimum.
1.7 By entering the draw lottery, you agree to receive marketing emails from Veritas House, of which you can unsubscribe at any time.
1.8 Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of raffle tickets which may be purchased.
1.9 The drawing of the draw lottery is being conducted independently of all people associated with the conduct of the draw lottery, therefore Veritas House staff and members of their households are permitted to purchase tickets in the draw lottery.
1.10 Draw lottery ticket sales will commence on Thursday 20th July 2023 and conclude on Thursday 14th September 2023
2. Draw Lottery Draw Process:
2.1 The draw for the winners will take place on Thursday 14th September 2023. Entrants need not be present to win.
2.2 Prizes will be drawn simultaneously.
2.3 Winning entries will be drawn electronically through the online platform SupporterHub, completely independent of Veritas House.
3. Winning Entries:
3.1 Veritas House reserves the right to request winners to show proof of identification suitable for verification prior to the release of prizes to winners.
3.2 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners will be notified by phone and all other prize winners will be emailed by Monday September 18th 2023, within 3 business days of the winners being drawn, and the winner’s details will be published on the Veritas House website on September 18th. A list of all prizes and winners will be displayed.
4. Fulfillment & Delivery/Collection of prizes:
4.1 Prizes must be collected from Veritas House Bathurst and Orange office locations. Winners must confirm which location and day for collection. Where collection is not possible prizes will be posted. The cost of postage will be incurred by the prize winner.
4.2 The prizes will be posted to the winners within twenty-eight days after the winners are decided. Veritas House will make all reasonable efforts to locate the winners and post the prizes.
4.3 In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept postage of a prize and that prize is returned to Veritas House, then that prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
4.4 If any prizes remain unclaimed for 1 year, Veritas House will deal with such prizes in accordance with the law.
4.5 All entries become the property of Veritas House and may use entrant information to contact you about news, events and general information in relation to the organisation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Veritas House at the address shown above.

5.2 Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

5.4 If for any reason the draw lottery is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of Veritas House, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, Veritas House reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the draw lottery, subject to any direction given under state permit regulations.
5.5 In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; Veritas House may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.
5.6 Veritas House reserves the right to disqualify any person who Veritas House has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct calculated to interfere with the fair and proper conduct of this draw lottery. Veritas House’s legal rights are reserved to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.
5.7 Veritas House accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss, damage or liability suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or incurred by any of the prize-winners in relation to the prizes or the draw lottery, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The winners release Veritas House, their related bodies, corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize or the promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of the prizes.
